Had a lovely weekend coffee shop hopping in Brooklyn.  We tried a variety of shops, and honestly were pleased with each experience--0 complaints to report.  Highlights include incredible cortados, conversation-stopping sandwiches, beautiful views of the Brooklyn Bridge, people watching, and debilitating caffeine buzzes.

To start, we visited WTF Coffee Lab, located in Fort Greene.  A very chic setting.  The highlights include extreme attention to detail in all that we ordered, which took some time to arrive... but it was well worth the wait (two sandwiches and two coffees).  Each coffee was prepared with care, and the sandwiches were quite figuratively mind blowing (the Ghost Face was the selected favorite).

After WTF Coffee Lab, we walked to Red Lantern Bicycles, on Myrtle Ave.  To switch it up, we both got iced drinks -- an iced coffee and an iced Americano.  Loved both.  At this point, feeling a little jittery from so much #caffeine.

Our next stop was Brooklyn Roasting Company in DUMBO.  An incredible open atmosphere with cute decorations and ample seating space (which is so dang important).  We got a macchiato, mint tea, and chocolate chip cookie to round out the day.  My realization when I sipped the macchiato: "THIS is a macchiato!"

Our final coffee stop was Ici on Dekalb Avenue, in Fort Greene.  Aside from a delicious brunch (all farm-to-table, locally sourced ingredients), we tested out the latte.  Highly recommended as well.

To complete the coffee-hopping weekend, we concluded the weekend with some donuts from Dough :-)  I've been fantasizing about the original (pictured on the right) donut ever since.

Have a beautiful week!
