Hello, all!  The beautiful new season of winter calls for new habits, attire, books, and things to look at.  Here are some of the things that I am loving this season...

1. Quote of the month: "Vulnerable people are powerful people.  Opening your heart and sharing it means you're going to get so much love in your life." --Amy Poehler.  J'adore this.

2. This cover by Lorde.  Save it for a rainy day.

3. The gorgeous wrap coat.... still (I've had this up for a few months now).

4. Instagrams accounts that teach me new things (Insta is educational!)... check out @frenchwords, @natgeo, and @smithsonianmagazine, 

5. Calligraphy.  Particularly inspired by @sugarcoatedstudio's work!

6. Currently reading The Circle by David Eggers.  Makes you think about how you use social media... worth a read!  Reminding me to look up from my phone often.  Any other book recs?

7. Beautifying my bookshelf.  A clean home is a clean mind.

8. Learning about where coffee comes from.  Did you know that the world's demand for coffee exceeds the rate of supply (this applies to chocolate too).  A number of factors contribute to this--depopulation of the regions where coffee grows (people want to move into the city), and global warming--are part of the story.

9. All noir.  Also check out this lipstick.
