Happy first of March!

Here are the things that are inspiring us, making us laugh, and making the ASC team excited about March...

1. LOVING all noir.  We even have an entire Pinterest Board dedicated to it!

2. This song - absolutely mood altering!

3. Reusable jars. For flowers, candles, unique lighting, to show off that colorful lunch, to grow herbs... I'm also a fan of reusing jars from items you've actually bought.  For example, I'm currently collecting loose change in an old salsa jar!

4. Book recommendation: The Girls of Riyadh, a unique and touching coming-of-age story.  The narrative follows four women from Riyadh from their teenage years to adulthood, and captures the restrictive gender roles in Saudi society.  The experiences of these women brought out the modern feminist in me!  It reminded me that even in the West, an entire world apart, women across cultural boundaries share similar experiences, restrictions, expectations, struggles, shames, insecurities desires, and hopes. Cue Meryl.

5. Everything pink. Everything!

6. This lentil-kale-egg combo recipe! 

7. This gorgeous frock.

8. Innovative brunch meals! Acai bowls and avocado toast - so yum and so fun.
